Our December issue of the Heritage Gazette of the Trent Valley has arrived!This issue has a diverse selection of thoughtfully researched and well written articles that we're excited to share with you, including an article written by John P Heron in the 1920s about what life was like in Peterborough in its earliest days as a settlement, an article about Peterborough's surprising connections to Castro's Cuba, and an article about a mistakenly identified illustration of Catharine Parr Traill. We want Crossing Over to follow in the footsteps of our first production, Tide of Hope, but we need your help to make next year's play another fundraising success! Putting on a theatrical production like this one requires a lot of upfront expenditures that impact the amount of money we are able to raise for the Trent Valley Archives.
