Written to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Trent-Severn Waterway, this book is full of original pen and ink drawings of Locks 33 to 20 done by local artist Drew Ridpath. It is divided into two sections. The first part of the book, written by Dennis Carter-Edwards, is a fascinating history of the Trent-Severn Waterway starting in the 1820’s and 30’s. The second is a tale of love, adventure and intrigue as two young people paddle down the Trent-Severn lock system from Fenelon Falls to Peterborough.
