None Available on site.

None expected.

Custodial History:
Donated to Trent Valley Archives by Barb Blackbourn, March 2012. The family had long had the photo and believed it to be of Canada Packers. However, by doing research with photographic materials in the archives it was concluded that this is a photo of part of the Alfred McDonald Lumber Company buildings at the tip of Point St Charles (now the site of Del Crary Park). The tip of the point is at the west point where the Otonabee River broadens into Little Lake from the north.

The photograph, which is terrific, appears to be printed in reverse. Alternatively the view is from the Otonabee River. We are unable to identify any distant tall buildings which show in our contemporary view from Little Lake.
