Administrative history: Gunshots was a newsletter produced by the Canadian General Electric Gun Carriage Division in Peterborough, Ontario from 1941-1942. It was edited by Arthur Kittson. Regular contributors tended to be anonymous and included “The Sergeant-Major” and “The Old Sod.” It was followed by the CGE Peterborough Works News which began publication in 1943 to inform the large population of employees of plant activities related to both work and social life.
