This book chronicles the fascinating life and career of J. Churchill Arlidge, a 19th-century Canadian flute virtuoso who played a leading role in the major musical events of his time. He was also the choir director and organist at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church on Water Street from 1891 to 1892, as well as a founding member of the Peterborough Philharmonic Society.
