Photocopy of a Township Taven Liscence issued to H. Morgan of Warsaw for Morgan House by Elias Williams on November 14 1905. The licence notes that Morgan paid a sum of 90 dollars for it. Also includes a photocopy of a smaller card which points out that an establishment with a licence that breaks the Liqiour Liscence Act (by serving alcohol to minors or during prohibited hours) will not receive another one. |

181 | Berry, Gordon | Dates: 1927-2002 Remarkable research collection related to all aspects of Upper Stoney Lake. Photographs (both digital and prints), research materials and correspondence relating to the production of the history of Stoney Lake book entitled Upper Stoney Lake: Gem of the Kawarthas. The research materials include newspaper clippings and brief written comments by people on the lake. Berry had several of the Roy Studio negatives printed as proof prints; this cost over $400 and very few were used in the book. There is a 1927 flyer for a pageant and a few vintage photographs in the collection. This is an excellent research collection by people who loved their subject. 375 | Fairbairn Photographs | Dates: 1892-1905 The fonds consists of a total of 189 plate glass negatives, most of which measure approximately 12.7×17.7 cm [5″ x 7″]. These were created by at least 3 different photographers between 1892 and 1905 at various locations in Peterborough County, Alberta, and British Columbia. The collection contains many culturally significant pieces, including views of work on the Trent Severn Waterway ca. 1900, views of Stoney Lake and Juniper Point, and portraits of prominent Peterboronians and their homes in the 1890s and early 1900s. 400 | Griffis, Matthew | Dates: 1900-2003 The fonds consists of high-resolution scans of approximately 230 colour, sepia, and black and white vintage postcard images of Peterborough, Lindsay, and various locations in the Kawartha Lakes region. All originals measure approximately 9×14 cm. The scans include the front and back of each card (labelled “a” and “b” respectively); these were scanned (at a resolution of 600 dpi) and labelled by the donor before donation. All paper originals remain with the donor; he has donated only the scans to TVA to use for public research, publications (when copyright allows), and TVA publicity.
